The Rowland Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating 37-year-old Deonta Montrel McDaniel, a man considered armed and dangerous in connection to a recent shooting incident. The incident took place on Monday evening in the 400 block of South Hickory Street in Rowland, North Carolina.

Suspect Identified in Shooting

Deonta Montrel McDaniel, a resident of Rowland, has been identified as a suspect in the shooting that occurred during a domestic situation. Warrants have been issued for McDaniel’s arrest as police continue their investigation into the incident.

Warning Issued

The public is advised not to approach or attempt to detain McDaniel on their own due to the fact that he is considered armed and dangerous. The safety of the community is paramount, and any information regarding McDaniel’s whereabouts should be reported to the Rowland Police Department immediately at (910) 774-6869.

Victim Airlifted to Hospital

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a female victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was airlifted to McLeod Regional Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
