Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a shocking turn of events in Bengaluru, a 45-year-old event manager allegedly stabbed his 25-year-old former girlfriend to death in a park, only to be bludgeoned to death by the victim’s mother with a hollow brick shortly after. The incident took place in Sarakki Park in JP Nagar, leaving eyewitnesses stunned by the gruesome double killing.
The first victim, identified as Anusha, resided in Shakambari Nagar in JP Nagar and worked as a home attendant for elderly individuals. Earlier in the day, Anusha had filed a harassment complaint against T Suresh, a resident of Goraguntepalya, prompting the police to intervene and get Suresh to promise to stay away from her.
According to police reports, Anusha and Suresh had a previous connection through their work in event management. Eyewitnesses at the park reported seeing a heated argument between the two before Suresh pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed Anusha. Hearing her daughter’s screams, Geetha, Anusha’s mother and a caregiver for the elderly, rushed to her aid and attempted to stop Suresh. When her efforts proved futile, Geetha grabbed a nearby cement brick and fatally struck Suresh.
Despite the desperate attempts to save Anusha, the deep stab wounds proved fatal, leading to her death upon arrival at a nearby hospital. The police were alerted to the scene by passersby, who also helped transport Anusha to the hospital. Suresh’s body was also taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations revealed that Suresh had misled Anusha about his marital status, claiming to be single when he was, in fact, married with children. This revelation led to Anusha distancing herself from Suresh, who then resorted to harassment. The police had previously intervened, issuing a warning to Suresh to stay away from Anusha.
The tragic incident has left the community in shock, as two lives were lost in a brutal manner. The police continue to investigate the case, trying to unravel the events that led to the double killing. The authorities have assured the public that justice will be served in this horrific crime..
