Special populations require adjustments. Individuals with cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or concerning symptoms (such as exertional chest pain, syncope, or severe shortness of breath) should seek medical clearance. Those with neurological disorders, pregnancy-related complications, or significant musculoskeletal limitations may benefit from supervised or medically guided programming. If mental clarity changes are accompanied by red flags—such as sudden confusion, severe depression, or suicidal thoughts—urgent clinical evaluation is warranted.
