Man Shot in Head in Summit Township
A man was shot in the head in Summit Township, Michigan on Sunday, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on April 21 at the 100 block of Lincoln Court.
Details of the Shooting
Authorities from Jackson County responded to a call about a shooting at 1:50 a.m. Deputies were initially in the area investigating a noise complaint when they heard gunshots. They discovered a 43-year-old man from Jackson County with a gunshot wound to the head.
Victim’s Condition
The victim was promptly taken to the hospital, where it was determined that his injuries were non-life-threatening. After receiving treatment, he was released from the hospital.
