Accident – Death – Obituary News : **Two Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Tampines**

A tragic road traffic accident in Singapore has left at least two people dead and several others injured. The incident, which involved four cars, a van, and a minibus, occurred at the junction of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 4 on Monday. The collision resulted in the death of a 17-year-old female car passenger and a 57-year-old female van passenger.

**Details of the Victims**

The deceased 17-year-old was a first-year student from Temasek Junior College, on her way to participate in the annual TJC Run when the accident happened. The second victim was affiliated with First Choice Pest Specialist, a pest control firm in the area. Additionally, three male car drivers, an 11-year-old male car passenger, and an 11-year-old male minibus passenger were also injured in the crash.

**Rescue Efforts**

Upon arrival at the scene, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) found a person trapped under a car wheel and used hydraulic rescue equipment to free them. Four individuals were taken to Changi General Hospital, two to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and two to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for treatment. The SCDF commended members of the public who assisted in providing aid to the injured.

**Investigations Ongoing**

A video shared on Instagram captured the aftermath of the accident, showing the wreckage of a vehicle and emergency response personnel at the scene. The police have confirmed that investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
