Neighbor Arrested for Alleged BB Gun Shooting in St. Johnsbury
In a small town in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, a disturbing incident unfolded on Monday evening, resulting in the arrest of a 48-year-old man for allegedly chasing down his neighbor and shooting at him with a BB gun.
The peaceful neighborhood was disrupted just before 5:45 p.m. when a frantic call was made to the local police department. The caller reported that he was being targeted by his neighbor, Christopher Fuller, who was armed with what appeared to be a BB gun.
As the situation escalated, the victim, identified as Sargent, managed to flee his home, only to find himself being pursued by Fuller in a menacing jeep. The sound of BB gun shots echoed through the quiet streets, causing panic and fear among residents.
Law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the distress call and located Fuller, who was promptly arrested on multiple charges. In addition to aggravated assault, Fuller faces charges of stalking, criminal threatening, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and driving under the influence.
Following his arrest, Fuller was taken into custody and transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex. He is currently held on a $1000 bail as the investigation into the incident continues.
