A tragic incident unfolded in Cincinnati on Friday evening, resulting in one person losing their life and another being rushed to the hospital following a shooting in the 500 block of York Street. The shocking incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., sending shockwaves through the local community.
Details of the Incident
Upon receiving reports of two individuals being shot, Cincinnati Police officers quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were promptly transported to The University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Cincinnati Fire Department crews for urgent medical attention.
Victims’ Identities Revealed
Tragically, 61-year-old Angela McNeil succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim, whose identity remains undisclosed at this time, received necessary treatment and is currently in stable condition, fighting for their recovery.
