In a separate incident, a police team from Kallar Syedan engaged in a shootout with a notorious criminal known as Wahid alias Wahdi, resulting in his demise. Wahid, wanted for a string of crimes including murder, kidnapping, attempted murder, and dacoity, met his end in the encounter, bringing a sense of relief to the law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile, in a shocking turn of events, armed dacoits brazenly looted Rs 10 million from the cashier of a private company in the bustling Commercial area of Rawalpindi. Despite the heightened security alert due to the presence of Pakistan and New Zealand cricket teams playing matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, the dacoits managed to carry out the robbery with impunity.

5000 policemen have been deployed in the area to ensure the safety of the cricket teams, yet the audacious robbery took place under their noses. The victim, cashier of Rawal Feeds named Faisal, was on his way to deposit the cash in a nearby bank when he was accosted by two armed dacoits who made off with the substantial sum.

A police team led by SI Haseeb Ahmed swiftly responded to the victim’s distress call and reached the crime scene to gather evidence and record statements.
