RCMP Seeks Public Help in Solving Homicide Case

The RCMP is reaching out to the public for assistance in gathering information regarding the tragic death of Kyle Schuiling, whose body was discovered by firefighters responding to a grassfire in Rocky View County.

Details of the Incident

On April 3, the Tsuut’ina Nation Fire Department received a call about a grass fire near Range Road 40 and Township Road 241 in Rocky View County. As they worked to extinguish the blaze, they uncovered human remains, later identified as those of 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling from Calgary.

An autopsy conducted on April 4 at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary confirmed that Schuiling’s death was the result of a homicide. The case has now been handed over to the RCMP’s Alberta Major Crimes Unit for further investigation.
