Accident – Death – Obituary News :

On a quiet Friday morning at approximately 11:16 a.m., officers from the Goldsboro Police Department rushed to an Assist EMS call on the 2000 block of E. Ash St. What they discovered was yet another tragic loss for the community.

The reporting party had found an unresponsive male in the residence. When EMS arrived, their worst fears were confirmed – a deceased male was found at the location. The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and Crime Scene Unit were immediately contacted and swiftly arrived at the scene.

With the help of nearby family members, the deceased was identified as Bryan Lee Jackson, a 42-year-old resident of Goldsboro. Jackson sadly marks the fifth deceased body that the Goldsboro Police Department has responded to since April 12.

Ongoing Investigation

While the investigation into the cause and manner of death is still ongoing, authorities currently do not suspect any foul play. The Goldsboro Police Department expressed their gratitude to the Goldsboro Fire Department and Wayne County EMS for their prompt assistance during this difficult time.
