Reports indicate that Huereque was operating a tractor-trailer with a 53-foot trailer, travelling eastbound on I-10. The driver had to slow down abruptly due to a traffic collision ahead of him. Sadly, Wiedmeyer, who was also riding his motorcycle in the same direction, failed to brake in time and collided with the rear of the semi-trailer.
