Tragic Accident on Interstate 469 in Allen County Claims Life of New Haven Woman
A tragic accident on Monday afternoon in Allen County has left the community in mourning. The Allen County Coroner has identified the victim as 62-year-old Lois Roberta Kohlhepp from New Haven. The incident occurred on Interstate 469, a major highway that runs through the county.
Chain-Reaction Crash
The fatal crash took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. when a chain-reaction involving six vehicles, including a semi-truck, occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 469. The collision took place between Stellhorn Road and the US 24 exit near New Haven. The impact of the crash was devastating, resulting in the loss of life of Lois Roberta Kohlhepp.
Tragic Loss
Lois Roberta Kohlhepp was the driver of the first car that was hit in the chain-reaction crash. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. The coroner’s report indicated that she succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries, and her death was ruled an accident. The entire community is now grieving the loss of a beloved member.
