In a tragic incident that has shocked the community, a Springfield man has been charged with the murder of his alleged girlfriend, who worked in the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect, 52-year-old Jason Chapdelaine, was arraigned on Tuesday in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Chapdelaine, who is being held without bail, entered a not guilty plea during his arraignment. His next court date is scheduled for May 13th.
