An out-of-state man, Dorien Ray, 21, has been arrested following a tragic incident at a rest area in northern New Mexico. The incident took place on Monday morning, resulting in a fatal stabbing and a series of charges against Ray.

Adams’ wife recounted the harrowing attack, revealing that he was assaulted and stabbed, with their vehicle, a 2016 BMW, reportedly missing from the scene.
A multi-agency effort was launched to apprehend the suspect and recover the stolen vehicle. The pursuit culminated in Ray’s arrest near Watrous, New Mexico, after a dramatic chase along Interstate 25.
Connection to Previous Incidents
Further investigations revealed that Ray may have been involved in a previous vehicle theft in Aurora, Colorado. The stolen vehicle, a 2019 Toyota 4Runner, matched the description of a car reported missing in Colorado.
