Two Men Arrested in Orange County for Shooting Death

In a recent incident in Orange County, Florida, two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of another man that occurred over a week ago. The incident took place at the Speedway gas station located at 9520 South Orange Blossom Trail.

Suspects Identified and Charged

Isaiah Holligan, 26, from Altamonte Springs, is facing a charge of first-degree felony murder with a firearm, while Jonatan Strickland, 24, from DeLand, has been charged with first-degree felony murder.

Details of the Shooting

The shooting took place on Friday, April 5, and responding deputies arrived at the scene just before 9:30 p.m. They found a man in his 30s who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Carlos Henry Bethel, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Arrest and Booking

Both Holligan and Strickland were booked into the Orange County jail on murder charges on Friday. As of now, no bond has been set for either of the suspects.

Investigation Ongoing

Deputies have not disclosed the specific details of the investigation that led to the identification and arrest of Holligan and Strickland as suspects in the shooting.
