A devastating single-vehicle ATV crash in Floyd County, Virginia has left the community in mourning. The incident took place on Saturday evening at 7p.m. on Indian Valley Post Office Road, just a short distance from Indian Valley Road.
Details of the Accident
According to Virginia State Police, the fatal crash involved a 2023 Can-Am Outlander that was travelling east on Indian Valley Post Office Road. The ATV veered off the right side of the road, careened down an embankment, and collided with several trees, resulting in the ejection of the driver.
Victim Identified
The driver of the ATV was identified as 48-year-old Todd Nathanial Huff, a resident of Indian Valley, Virginia. Sadly, it was reported that Huff was not wearing a seatbelt or a helmet at the time of the crash, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Ongoing Investigation
The Virginia State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. The authorities are working diligently to piece together what led to the fatal crash and determine if any factors contributed to the outcome.
