According to Virginia State Police, a 2018 Kia Soul was travelling on Route 220 when the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway. The car then struck a culvert and overturned, resulting in a tragic outcome.
Victim Identified
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 61-year-old Jennifer Marie Stokes from Greensboro, North Carolina. Despite wearing her seatbelt, Stokes tragically lost her life at the scene of the accident.
