Hostage Situation Unfolds in New Jersey Home

Authorities are currently dealing with a tense situation as a wanted man, described as “extremely dangerous,” has barricaded himself with hostages inside a home in New Jersey. The incident follows a series of tragic events that unfolded in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, where three people were shot and killed by the suspect.

Suspect Identified as 26-Year-Old Andre Gordon

The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, is believed to have fatally shot two people at a home on Viewpoint Lane before fleeing the scene in a stolen car. He then proceeded to another location on Edgewood Lane, where he shot and killed another victim. Among the victims are Gordon’s sister, Kera Gordon, 13, and his stepmom, Karen Gordon, 52.

Additional Victims and Carjacking Incident

At the second location, the suspect also fatally shot Taylor Daniel, 25, who shares two children with Gordon. Four other individuals were present at the scene, with the suspect allegedly assaulting Daniel’s mom with an assault rifle. After the shootings, Gordon carjacked a vehicle from a Dollar General in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, before being located in New Jersey.

SWAT Team Surrounds Residence

Police received information that Gordon is currently barricaded with hostages inside a residence on Phillips Street in Trenton, New Jersey. The Trenton City Police Department has dispatched its SWAT team to surround the property as the standoff continues. A shelter-in-place order that was issued earlier in Falls Township has been lifted following the new developments.

Suspect Described as “Extremely Dangerous”

Authorities have described Andre Gordon as approximately 6’1″ with a thin build, last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. He is believed to be armed with an assault rifle and possibly other weapons, making him extremely dangerous. As of 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Gordon remains barricaded with the hostages inside the New Jersey home.
