The chain of events began earlier in the day when Gordon carjacked a vehicle in Trenton before embarking on a harrowing journey that spanned over 60km to the northern Philadelphia suburb of Levittown. It was in Levittown where the suspect committed the first two murders, taking the lives of his 52-year-old stepmother and 13-year-old sister.
