The Pursuit

Following the theft, police officers initiated a pursuit of the suspect’s vehicle, which eventually led to a 50-minute chase through the streets of Smithfield. The pursuit came to a head when the suspect’s vehicle collided with a bystander’s car at the intersection of Benns Church and South Church Street, resulting in injuries to the occupants of the vehicles.
