Accident – Death – Obituary News :

In a recent incident that took place in Pulaski County, three individuals were arrested following an early morning traffic stop. The events unfolded on March 15, 2024, at around 5 a.m. when Deputy Tyler Pearson from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office noticed a silver Chevrolet Silverado speeding on Ky. 90 without any tail lights.

Details of the Traffic Stop

Deputy Pearson attempted to pull over the vehicle on Ky. 90, but the driver refused to stop and eventually turned onto Jacksboro Road. During the pursuit, Deputy Pearson witnessed the driver hanging out of the window, displaying reckless behavior on the road.

After finally coming to a stop, it was revealed that the driver, identified as Justin Stigall from Burnside, Ky, was not wearing his seat belt and had unrestrained children in the vehicle. Further investigation uncovered that Stigall’s license was suspended, and the vehicle was uninsured.

Discovery of Illegal Substances

Two female passengers, Alison Fuson and Melissa Payne, both from Burnside, were also in the vehicle and found to have warrants for their arrest. One of the passengers informed Deputy Pearson that Stigall had given them a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance before being apprehended.

A search of the truck revealed additional paraphernalia commonly used for smoking methamphetamine, leading to Stigall’s arrest on multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.

Arrest and Charges

Stigall was charged with Reckless Driving, No Tail Lamps, Driving on a DUI Suspended License, Failure to Wear Seat Belts, Possession of Methamphetamine, Booster Seat Violations, Fleeing or Evading Police, and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. Fuson and Payne were arrested for failure to appear on warrants issued by Pulaski County courts.

All three individuals were taken into custody and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. Deputy Pearson was assisted on the scene by Deputy Evan Whitis and Ferguson Police Officer Travis Richardson.
