In a tragic incident earlier this week, a 43-year-old man from Ontario was shot multiple times in the 300 block of West C Street. The victim, whose identity has not been released pending notification of his family, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from the Ontario Fire Department.

Verbal Dispute Turns Deadly

According to the Ontario Police Department, the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with two men, later identified as brothers Michael Castillo, 18, and Daniel Castillo. The altercation escalated when one of the brothers pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Suspects Arrested

Following an investigation, Michael Castillo was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. His brother, Daniel Castillo, was also arrested and faces charges for accessory after the fact. The two men were taken into custody on Wednesday evening and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
