Gun Shop Burglary in Evesham Township Leads to 15-Year-Old’s Arrest

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A recent incident in Evesham Township has shocked the community, as a 15-year-old boy has been apprehended for his involvement in a burglary at the Urban Tactical Firearms gun shop. The young suspect was taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant on March 7.

According to officials, the burglary took place on February 26, when four individuals smashed the glass doors of the gun shop with a landscaping rock. Once inside, they triggered an alarm but proceeded to swiftly break glass cases and steal firearms and ammunition. The perpetrators managed to make off with four handguns and a long gun rifle.

The suspects arrived and fled the scene in a stolen Hyundai, which was later found abandoned on Breeders Cup Drive in Cherry Hill. Law enforcement processed the vehicle and were able to identify one suspect, leading to the arrest of the 15-year-old boy at a Cherry Hill address. Stolen property and additional evidence were recovered during the operation.

Charges and Detention

The teenage suspect is facing charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and other related offenses. He is currently being held at the Camden County Youth Detention Facility, awaiting further legal proceedings.
