A 26-year-old man from Toronto has been charged with second-degree murder following a fatal stabbing that occurred earlier this year. The tragic incident took place on January 11 near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Lower Spadina Avenue.

Details of the Incident

According to Toronto police, they received a call about a stabbing in the area around 8:20 p.m. An argument between two men escalated, leading to one man being fatally stabbed. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim, identified as 46-year-old Matthew Crosby, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on February 9.

Arrest and Charges

On March 13, Kyle Allegro, also of Toronto, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident. He appeared in court to face the charges on Thursday. The investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
