Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for 2020 Double Homicide

A Kansas City man, Cleon D. White, was sentenced to life in prison without parole plus 65 years for his involvement in a 2020 double homicide, as announced by the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.

White, aged 36, was recently convicted by a Jackson County jury on two counts of first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action. The charges stem from the deadly shootings of 18-year-old Jahmiere Green and 22-year-old Brandon Rainey in April 2022.
