John Bundy, who works nearby, recounted the moment of the explosion, likening it to a “mushroom cloud” that caught everyone by surprise. He and his nephew immediately rushed to the scene, along with other concerned individuals, to assess the situation.

Despite the danger posed by the raging flames, one brave individual ran towards the burning house, desperately searching for any survivors. Bundy and his nephew, along with others, provided support to a woman who emerged from a nearby home, holding a baby and seeking solace after learning that her parents were the ones who perished in the explosion.
Logan Barcia, Bundy’s nephew, described the scene as “complete devastation,” with not a single structure left standing on the property. The destruction extended to at least two other homes in the vicinity, adding to the sense of loss and tragedy that enveloped the community.
