Tragic Accident Claims Life of 27-Year-Old Woman in Gurugram
In a heartbreaking incident in Gurugram, a 27-year-old woman named Nasima Khatoon tragically lost her life after being hit by an SUV while riding her bicycle in the Sector 53 area. The incident, which occurred around 6:30 pm on Sunday, has left the local community in shock and mourning.
Details of the Incident
The victim, Nasima Khatoon, was a native of Assam who had been living in the Saraswati Kunj area of Gurugram with her husband, Aminul Haq. Khatoon was returning home from work on her bicycle when a Mahindra SUV struck her while she was crossing the Golf Course Road. The driver of the SUV immediately fled the scene, leaving Khatoon critically injured.
Khatoon was rushed to a nearby private hospital, but due to the severity of her injuries, she was later transferred to AIIMS in Delhi for further treatment. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away on Monday night, leaving her family and loved ones devastated.
Police Investigation and Legal Action
Following the incident, Aminul Haq, the husband of the deceased, filed a complaint with the police, leading to the registration of an FIR against the unidentified SUV driver. The driver is facing charges under Sections 279 (rash driving) and 304-A (death due to negligence) of the Indian Penal Code.
