Tragic Fatal Collision in Silver Spring, Maryland

The Montgomery County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is currently investigating a fatal collision between two vehicles that resulted in the loss of a 77-year-old resident of Silver Spring, Maria Perdomo.
The Victim and the Vehicles Involved
Maria Perdomo was driving a red 2013 Subaru Outback when the collision occurred. She was making a left turn when her vehicle collided with a black 2019 Tesla Model Y. Tragically, Perdomo was declared dead at the scene of the accident. The male driver of the Tesla sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
