Accident – Death – Obituary News : A Plymouth man named Joshua Fitzgerald, aged 25, found himself in hot water after allegedly shooting at homes during the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident took place on North Spooner Street, where Fitzgerald reportedly opened fire at two residences following a prior altercation outside a bar. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Upon responding to the scene, law enforcement officers located Fitzgerald on his front porch. Attempting to evade capture, he retreated into his home and then made a failed escape attempt through his backyard. The police managed to subdue him at gunpoint, prompting Fitzgerald to drop a pistol and comply with their instructions. He was subsequently taken into custody without further incident.

Fitzgerald now faces a laundry list of charges, including four counts of assault to murder while armed with a firearm, seven counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm and ammunition without proper licenses, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, threats to commit murder, destruction of property over $1,200, possession of a class B drug (cocaine), and disturbing the peace.

Although bail was initially set at $10,000, Fitzgerald is currently being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for this Friday. This legal proceeding will determine whether he poses a significant threat to society and should remain in custody.
