Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A woman in Memphis, Brenda Hall, was arrested after she and her daughters followed a woman into her apartment and robbed her earlier this month in Frayser. The incident took place at an apartment complex on Treemont Drive on March 2.

Details of the Incident

According to Memphis Police, the victim reported that she was assaulted and robbed of $200 by a group of females. When the victim arrived home and entered her apartment, Hall and her daughters entered uninvited. Three of the females went into the bathroom where the victim was, and the older female struck the victim in the head with a bottle.

Another female grabbed the victim’s purse while a third female pulled her hair and tugged on the purse. Despite the victim’s attempts to defend herself, the suspects managed to take the purse and leave the apartment. The victim followed them outside in an effort to retrieve her belongings and identify the culprits.

Identification and Arrest

The older woman hit the victim in the head again with a liquor bottle, and another female armed with a handgun demanded that the victim stay away from her mother. The suspects then fled the scene in a white Jeep with a Tennessee license plate registered to Brenda Hall.

Records showed that Hall and several of her daughters had been involved in a previous assault two years ago. The victim positively identified Hall in a lineup as the older woman who had assaulted her and participated in the robbery. Brenda Hall is currently in custody on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
