Explosive Plot Uncovered in Richmond Hill, Georgia

A shocking incident unfolded in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where two men were indicted on multiple federal charges for a heinous crime that rocked the community. Stephen Glosser, 37, and Caleb Kinsey, 34, were accused of bombing a woman’s dream home in a calculated attack that left residents reeling.

Details of the Attack

The perpetrators utilized an explosive device involving Tannerite to blow up part of the woman’s home on January 13, 2023. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the explosion that caused significant damage to the property.

Motive and Disturbing Plans

While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, reports from NBC News suggest that one of the men had a prior relationship with the victim. Prosecutors revealed that the suspects had been monitoring the victim using surveillance equipment for months leading up to the bombing.

Disturbingly, court documents allege that Glosser and Kinsey had devised a sinister plan to harm the victim in various ways, including releasing a large python into the home to target the victim’s daughter. Additionally, they planned to send menacing items like dog feces and dead rats to the victim’s residence.

Victim’s Devastation and Rebuilding

The victim, Larissa Apperson, shared her heartbreak in an interview with Nexstar’s WSAV, expressing her devastation over the destruction of her dream home. Apperson and her daughter had only moved into the property less than 12 hours before the explosion occurred.

Despite the trauma caused by the attack, Apperson remains determined to rebuild the damaged part of her house and move forward from the harrowing experience.

Legal Consequences for the Perpetrators

Glosser and Kinsey now face charges of stalking, using an explosive to commit a felony, conspiracy, and possession of an unregistered destructive device. Kinsey also faces additional charges related to the purchase of firearms and possession as a convicted felon.

If convicted, the suspects could face up to 20 years in prison for the conspiracy charge, with an additional 10 years for using an explosive in the commission of a felony.
