Friends and family will gather for a memorial service on Monday for the two teenagers tragically killed in a car crash in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The incident took place near Wilson and Haven avenues, close to Chaffey College.

Details of the Crash

The fatal crash occurred around 4:25 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. The victims, identified as siblings Elias and Sarah Cruz, ages 17 and 14 respectively, were students at Los Osos High School. Elias was driving a white Ford Mustang westbound on Wilson Avenue when he lost control at an intersection, crashing into a power pole and a tree. Both Elias and Sarah tragically lost their lives at the scene, while a 17-year-old passenger, whose identity remains undisclosed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

He fondly remembered Elias as a passionate baseball player and fan, while Sarah was described as a vibrant and friendly individual, loved by all who knew her.

In response to the heartbreaking incident, a GoFundMe account has been created to assist the Cruz family with funeral expenses. The fundraiser has garnered an overwhelming response, raising over $93,000 to date.
