The tragic incident unfolded in the neighborhood of Roselawn, Cincinnati
Cincinnati police have confirmed that a death investigation is underway following a homicide involving a Rumpke driver in the peaceful neighborhood of Roselawn, Cincinnati.
Details of the Incident
The Cincinnati Police Department responded to a distress call in the 7100 block of Eastlawn Drive at approximately 9 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive man inside a vehicle. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Angel Flores, a Rumpke driver.
Flores was found to have sustained a fatal gunshot wound and tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene, according to the police report.
Company Response
Molly Yeager, a spokesperson for Rumpke, expressed the company’s profound sadness over the loss of one of their residential drivers. In a statement, Yeager mentioned, “Nothing is more important than our team members and their safety. We are a close-knit team, and today, all of our hearts are broken. Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and co-workers of our driver.”
“We will be working closely with our Employee Assistance Program to ensure that our team members have the necessary resources available to cope with today’s tragic incident and mourn the loss of a friend,” Yeager added.
