Tragic Discovery in the Arkansas River
The Jefferson County sheriff’s office is currently investigating a heartbreaking incident after the discovery of a deceased Pine Bluff man in the Arkansas River. The sheriff’s office revealed that the body found belonged to Andrew Hutchinson, aged 60, from Pine Bluff.
Location of Discovery
Over the weekend, deputies were called to a remote area along the banks of the Arkansas River, where they made the grim discovery of Hutchinson’s body. This news comes as a shock to the local community, as Hutchinson’s family had reported his last known whereabouts in Jonesboro back on February 12.
Identification Process
After confirming the identity of the deceased as Andrew Hutchinson, the sheriff’s office is now focused on determining the circumstances surrounding his untimely death. To gather more information, Hutchinson’s body will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for a thorough medical examination.
