Rusk County, Texas: Houston Woman Found Fatally Shot in Car
In a tragic incident that has shocked the community, a 27-year-old woman from Houston was found dead in Rusk County, Texas. The victim, identified as Christina Glenn, was discovered in the driver’s seat of a car with a gunshot wound to the head.
Discovery of the Victim
Authorities were alerted to the scene after receiving reports of a car crash in Rusk County. Upon arrival, deputies found Glenn lifeless in the vehicle. Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Pat McCrory pronounced her dead at the scene.
Identification of the Suspect
Following an investigation, the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office was able to apprehend the suspect in connection with Glenn’s murder. The accused, 33-year-old Justin Roy Edwards from Houston, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.
Suspect in Custody
Edwards is currently being held at the Rusk County Jail, where his bond has been set at $1 million. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the tragic incident to uncover the motive behind this heinous crime.
