Man Fatally Shot in Midlothian Home

A tragic incident unfolded in Midlothian as a 25-year-old man lost his life after being shot inside a home on Tuesday. The Midlothian police department received a distressing call just before 9 p.m. from the 500 block of Chelsea Drive, near FM 1387.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the victim, identified as Choyce Redmon, with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a local hospital by Midlothian fire personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.

Police Investigation

Authorities have not yet pinpointed a suspect, but have classified the fatal shooting as a targeted assault. Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored luxury sedan fleeing the area, possibly heading from Chelsea Drive then north on Westminster Drive.

The police department is urging residents in the vicinity to review their security footage for any vehicles matching the description around the time of the incident.
