Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A Pennsburg man has found himself in hot water after allegedly stealing groceries from two popular stores in Pennsylvania. Ryan Reago, 29, is facing multiple felony charges for retail theft and receiving stolen property in Hatfield Township and Montgomeryville.

Incident Details

According to investigators from the Montgomery Township Police Department, Reago was caught on surveillance footage stealing a total of $1,134.29 worth of merchandise from the Wegmans store in Montgomeryville over the span of five visits between January 1 and February 1. The police were alerted to the thefts by an employee at Wegmans, who suspected that the same person was behind all the incidents.

Upon reviewing reports, photos, and surveillance footage provided by the employee, authorities were able to identify Reago as the suspect. The evidence from the Wegmans thefts also matched footage from a similar incident in Hatfield, where Reago had already been arrested for theft.

Court Proceedings

Charges were officially filed against Reago in the Hatfield case on January 24, and he was held for trial during a preliminary hearing on February 21. Currently out on $5,000 unsecured bail, Reago is scheduled for a formal arraignment at county court on April 3.

In the Montgomery Township case, police filed charges against Reago on February 21, and he was arraigned on February 27. His next court appearance for this case is a preliminary hearing set for March 26 at 11:45 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy.

It is important to note that all suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This story was compiled using information from public court records.
