Tragic Incident in Florissant, Missouri
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Florissant, Missouri, where a St. Louis man was charged after allegedly leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Ravindar Lalsandhu, hailing from Wellston, has been accused of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, which is classified as a class D felony.

The fatal incident took place just after 7 p.m. on New Halls Ferry Road, near the intersection of Cross Keys Road in Florissant. According to a probable cause statement from Florissant Police, Lalsandhu had exited the Cross Keys Plaza parking lot before colliding with the pedestrian who was crossing the street.
Eyewitnesses reported that after hitting the man, Lalsandhu initially stopped and approached the victim lying on the street. Shockingly, he then made the decision to get back into his vehicle and drive away, leaving the injured man behind.
Police Investigation and Arrest
Law enforcement authorities were able to identify the vehicle involved in the accident through Flock cameras, ultimately tracing it back to Lalsandhu’s fiancée. Upon visiting the registered address, officers found Lalsandhu unloading items from the car.
During questioning, Lalsandhu’s fiancée revealed that she had convinced him to return to the scene after he confessed to hitting “something.” However, upon seeing a significant police presence at the location, Lalsandhu fled once again.
