Gas Leak Tragedy Claims Lives of Three Farmers in Swabi
In a heartbreaking turn of events, three farmers from the Maneri Payan region in Swabi met a tragic end on Sunday night due to a gas leak incident. The victims, identified as Mukrram Khan, Ilyas Khan, and Ikhtiram Khan, were suffocated by the deadly fumes in their room located in Baikot village.
Details of the Incident
According to officials from Rescue 1122, the farmers were using a gas generator to illuminate their poultry farm after the power supply was cut off. Unfortunately, the room became filled with gas from the generator, leading to the untimely demise of the three individuals.
Discovery of the Tragedy
The heartbreaking news was discovered by the relatives of the deceased the following morning when the farmers failed to return home. Upon entering the room, they were met with the lifeless bodies of the three men. The bodies were then transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for further examination.
