Phulbani: Reports have emerged of a tragic incident in Phulbani, Odisha, where an Assistant Executive Engineer was found hanging in a government residence. The engineer has been identified as ITDA Assistant Executive Engineer Tusarendu Naik.
The discovery of the engineer’s body has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his death. While some speculate it may be a case of suicide, others are not ruling out the possibility of foul play.

In a separate incident in Dharmagarh, Kalahandi district, another engineer’s body was found in the Indravati lift irrigation canal. The engineer, identified as Junior Engineer Bhabanishankar Mahant, had been reported missing for a day before his body was discovered.
Authorities found the engineer’s belongings, including a bike, purse, Aadhar card, and important documents near the site where his body was recovered. The police and Fire Department have conducted a preliminary examination and sent the body for postmortem to determine the cause of death.
