Man tragically falls to his death off Delhi flyover after being hit by a car
 
New Delhi: A heartbreaking incident occurred in Delhi’s Badarpur area as a man lost his life after falling off a flyover following a collision with a car on Friday, as reported by the police.

The victim was identified as Pratap Singh, a 35-year-old resident of New Seemapuri, who worked as an Assistant Manager at the Yamaha showroom in Noida.

The Badarpur police station received information in the evening from Apollo Hospital regarding an accident involving a man across NTPC gate No 1. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.

After identification, it was revealed that Singh was traveling from Faridabad to Sarita Vihar on his scooter at the time of the incident.

“Whilst on the Badarpur flyover near Tughlakabad metro station, his scooter was struck from behind by a car. This impact caused him to fall off the flyover onto the service road,” stated Deputy Commissioner of Police, Southeast, Rajesh Deo.

The DCP mentioned that the victim’s family has been informed, and legal actions are being taken. The driver of the car, Virender Rana, a 35-year-old resident of Uttam Nagar, has been apprehended, he added.
