In a heartbreaking turn of events, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the death of 18-year-old Jaylon Joiner, a student at Carencro High School, who was shot in a tragic incident in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. The incident took place in the 200 block of Bradford Drive, where deputies responded to a call about a shooting just after 3 p.m.

Initial reports indicate that Joiner was shot while exiting a school bus, sustaining life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his wounds.
