Deadly Shooting Occurs at El Cajon Dentist’s Office
In a tragic incident that shook the community of El Cajon, California, a man lost his life and two others were injured in a shooting at a local dentist’s office on Thursday afternoon.
Location of the Incident
The harrowing incident took place just before 4:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon. The peaceful neighbourhood was disrupted by the sound of gunshots, sending shockwaves through the community.
Suspect Flees the Scene
Following the shooting, the suspect made a hasty escape in a white U-haul truck with an Arizona license plate. However, law enforcement officers were quick to respond, tracking down the vehicle to the Balboa Park area.
Suspect Apprehended
The suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Mohammed Abdulkareem, was apprehended by police shortly after 10 p.m. His motives for the shooting remain unknown as investigators continue to piece together the events that led to this tragic outcome.
Victims Hospitalized
Two of the victims, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s, were rushed to the hospital in stable condition. The community has rallied around the victims and their families, offering support and prayers during this difficult time.
