Man Dies in Car Crash on North-South Expressway Near Juru
Tragedy struck in Bukit Mertajam as a young man lost his life in a fatal car accident on the North-South Expressway (NSE) near Juru. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of a promising individual.

The victim, identified as R.Aravin, aged 26, was driving along KM141 of the NSE when his car skidded and crashed into a road divider. The impact of the collision caused severe injuries, ultimately leading to his untimely demise at the scene.

Upon receiving an emergency call at 3.43am, the Penang Fire and Rescue Department swiftly mobilised a team to the scene of the accident. The state operations centre (PGO) coordinated the rescue efforts, deploying specialised tools to extricate the victim from the wreckage.
