Tragic Death of San Bruno Resident at Seabright State Beach

Last week, tragedy struck at Seabright State Beach in Santa Cruz, where a 21-year-old woman lost her life due to strangulation. The victim has been identified as Zainab Mansoor, a resident of San Bruno who was also a student at UC Santa Cruz.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, Mansoor’s boyfriend, 20-year-old Samuel Stone, was arrested and is facing murder charges in connection with her death. Stone, who was also a student at UCSC until last month, allegedly called 911 in the early hours of February 23 to report that he had strangled his girlfriend on the beach.
