Accident – Death – Obituary News :
Three female agricultural workers lost their lives, while nine others sustained injuries in a devastating road accident that took place in Telangana’s Suryapet district. The incident occurred on Wednesday when an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided with a bus on the Suryapet-Khammam highway. The collision occurred as the two vehicles were passing through an underpass in the Mothe Mandal area of the district.
Details of the Accident
The victims, who hailed from Ramasamudram village in Munagala Mandal, were on their way to work in the fields when the tragedy struck. The impact of the collision led to the immediate death of three labourers, while the injured were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Among the injured, two individuals are reported to be in critical condition. The deceased were identified as Burkacherla Kandula Nagamma (65), Chevula Narayanamma (68), and Pokala Anasuyamma (64), all residents of Munagala Mandal.
Identification of Victims and Injured
In addition to the deceased, the injured individuals include auto driver Somapangu Pawan, and passengers Kandula Guravaiah, Naragoni Chandramma, Bellamkonda Sravanti, Palapati Ramulamma, Palapati Mangamma, Katthi Vijaya, Somapangu Lakshmi, and Saubhagya. The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision.
