FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police have released footage from a civilian’s dash cam of the potential suspect in the Foxboro highway shooting that tragically left one man dead.

MSP has been appealing for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a silver colored car believed to be involved in the deadly highway shooting in Foxboro on Feb. 3.

Authorities have provided updated information today that the suspect’s vehicle was captured on a civilian’s dash cam.

The vehicle has been tentatively identified as a Hyundai Sonata with cosmetic modifications.

The victim, identified as 37-year-old Justin Parker, tragically lost his life after the driver of the sedan fired multiple gunshots into his car.

The footage showed the moments after the driver or passenger of the sedan fired multiple shots into Parker’s Mercedes.

Parker’s car then veered into a Lexus SUV being driven by a family, causing the vehicle to crash off the highway. Thankfully, the occupants of the Lexus survived.

Following the impact with the SUV, Parker’s car collided with the center guard rail.

He was rushed to the hospital but, unfortunately, did not survive.

Investigators are continuing to seek the public’s assistance in providing any information on the ownership or whereabouts of the vehicle in the photo.
