Danielle Montijo’s body was found in Mission Creek, located near the intersection of Bath and Cota streets in Santa Barbara. The discovery took place on Monday, February 19, during the time when an atmospheric river hit the Central Coast. This weather event led to severe flooding in the region, affecting roadways and even causing the closure of Santa Barbara Airport.
Cause of Death
