On Feb. 17, at around 3:15 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of Marion Street, which is a bustling area in the heart of the city.
Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers discovered an adult male, unresponsive, with apparent gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services quickly arrived on the scene and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The victim was later identified as 20-year-old Amari Williams, who tragically succumbed to his injuries on Feb. 19 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
