In a devastating incident that occurred on Monday morning, the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) released a report detailing a wrong-way crash on Highway 70 North at Willow Road in Hawkins County around 7:30 a.m.

According to the report, 18-year-old Tylor Short, a resident of Eidson, TN, was driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado southbound on Highway 70 North when he collided with a school bus. The bus driver, identified as 55-year-old Aleita Gladson from Rogersville, TN, tragically lost her life in the crash despite wearing a seat belt.

Additionally, the report stated that there were two children on board the bus at the time of the accident, but thankfully, they did not sustain any injuries.
